Evening Pretension

Out we go to seize the night,

The disco light shines so bright.

An evening floor full of life and lust,

Dance and drink is what we must.

What our eyes do now see,

Is my attire or persona but it’s not me.

Girls in heels and a tight revealing dress,

Masculine boys with lies they confess.

The evening in a whole is a business transaction,

What he sees, what she hears are the main actions.

No love or emotion will ever be found,

Lust and lies are their only true bound.

Yet the game is played but there are no winners,

Only a room full of young lustful sinners.
