Colour & Light

The world swirls with colours and light,

People live with a shortened sight,

Those colours collide and become shades of grey,

The lights are lost like a voice with no say,

Love is kept deep underground,

A treasure covered waiting to be found,

A weight bares on the shoulders of good will,

But she’s where I get my good feel,

A light among the darkness of an enduring day,

A single rose blossoming in the field of decay,

Your love is majority,

In a heart of minority,

Your smile is my cure,

To all that’s impure,

You are a swirl of colour and light,

A fountain of truth that does not lose sight.
